Thank you for taking the time to clearly explain this exercise and for showing us what we are doing wrong, I have been banging my wrists they have been so painful, but won’t be banging them any more. I find ALL your tutorials clear and informative, a MUST for anyone wanting the BEST in kettlebell exercises. Thanks again.

Last time I worked with KBs I messed up my forearms. Couldn’t quite get the ‘twist’. I think I’ve got it now. Great video.

Your well shaped feminine physique gave me a good idea how to execute the clean properly. The other guys on YT are mostly too buffed to see the motion in detail… since I’m a bit skinny so…
Thanks a lot. Great help!

If your a male keep the kettlebell closer to your chest , just like when you keep your fists together in boxing. Here she keeps her kettlebell a little wider so she doesn’t bang up her breast, although she could keep it a little closer.

Yes, only women are allowed to clean with the bell slightly out to the side like that. Men, keep it tight!!

Thanks for explaining the clean like you did. It explained two things to me, One, why people swung with the thumb back, and Two, how to “twist” the bell. Thanks again, very helpful.

Remember folks, this style of rack at the top is for the ladies. Gentlemen should have their thumbs further in at the top, over the pectoral muscle or as far as the sternum depending on the kbell. I usually reference youtube kbell vids to sure up that I’m doing something right, always come across Lauren’s videos and they tend to be most helpful.
