This is a squat and lift NOT a swing. Swing is the thing. Better off chopping fire wood then pass this off as a KB SWING.

That not a kettlebell swing, Thats a squat. She is bending at the knees but should be folding at the hips. It should look very much like a balistic deadlift with the KB hike passing back between the legs. Shins should stay pretty much vertical.

There is a bend in the knees, but the hips should go back first. Her knees pass her toes and her shins don’t stay vertical…a major problem in her form, among others. She does not utilize her hips properly and probably can’t/never has squat.

PLEASE Don’t listen to these guys!! That is NOT a swing and he is NOT an instructor. This is a recipe for back injury

You talk about pavel like you are an RKC, which I can easily tell you aren’t even close if you think this video is a good demo of a swing. Yes there is a bend in the knees but it is not a squat at all, it is a hip-hinging movement. The movement should be much more forward and back as opposed to up and down like this awful demo is inadvertantly promoting.

    Alright. I know nothing.

Yes, it is simple. Instruction on breathing???? Don’t hold your breath. Pavel would be ashamed of your attitude. Have a more honorable attitude comrad, the swing is simple. Thos who think it is a complex movement are the ones at fault.

in the kettlebell pull , yes there is a bend in the knees.

I bought burn the fat, I wouldn’t say its bad, you can read my review at =>> mypsreview(.)com/burnthefat(.)html

The kettlebell swing is NOT a squat…and where was the instruction on breathing? This is exactly why only qualified kettlebell instructors need to be using YouTube to try and educate viewers. Yes, the swing is the foundation of kettlebell movements, but that doesn’t mean it’s simple. Ugh.

  17. Comment by pittsocal

That is awful swing form. Not even close to right. There is no squat in the swing

Its not going to help you burn more fat, but its a good addition to a workout (plus kettlebells are the coolest thing since sliced bread). The only way to ‘burn fat’ is use more calories than you take it – some things are more efficient than other, but nothing burns fat itself. Looks like fun though :)

Alright, the last pic was for show, now im obligated to buy a DVD, shit, that works everytime…

Hold up, are you saying that if i do that 60 seconds im going to burn more fat along with my other routines? If so, can i do it with a 20 lb dumbbell?

  21. Comment by gman0345

You shouldn’t talk about yourself like that kkristen1, be happy with who you are, have confidence. Big girls can be beautiful too you know ;) If you truly want to imrpove your health, set up a proper exercise program and a nutrition plan for yourself with realistic goals. Dont expect to lose 10 pounds in a week, but stick to it and you will slowly melt away that extra bit of fat until you are lean and mean! Always remember, ” you are what you eat! “

I use a heavy dumbell to do that exercise simply because in my home gym I don’t have any Kettle bells. I am pushing 60 and I have been using that exercise in my routine and have had great results doing it. I have never been injured doing this particular movent because it is smooth. Compound movements combined with speed burn fat and build muscle. I have been working well over four 4 decades and trust me this is something you want to incorporate into your fitness program.

And you can hurt yourself quite easily with that kind of momentum. I’d rather do more controlled exercises.

How to burn more fat? Exercise more. It’s that simple.
