what a badass
kettlebells r much more versatile than dumbells n barbells. Pavel summed it up pretty well “Kettlebells are to freeweights what freeweights are to pully machines.” he described them as the AK-47 of fitness tools, a simple device that creates immense amounts of functional strength. for example, look at the guys that go to the gym n focus on bench n curls. those 2 exercise have no real functional value. there is not alot that bench and curl can b applied to in the real world.
This guy knows what he is talking about and all of you taking strength training seriously should buy at least one of his great books. I hope I could meet Pavel one day in person.
@RRFF12345 BTW, im sure there are well over twice as many kb lifts as there are bb/db
@RRFF12345 that depends on what you are doing with the dumbbell/barbell
@medicalization or while they do cosmetic isolation lifts like a buncha bitches
. hardstyle mang
@2010MrMaximus ,besides.explosive movements are a sure way to wreck your joints.Pavel has many valid advice.but kettlebells i stay far away from.not everyhting from Russia is good.i like the folkmusic though.”ei uchniem !”stenka rasin’….
@2010MrMaximus ,tiring?is it about getting tired?do a circuit training twenty reps each station.barbells and dumbells are way more versatile than kettlebells.you only need your brains hwo to use them
@RRFF12345 Its a shit load more tiring dude !!!!
Pavel is the god
People gave my comment a thumbs down because they are close minded. They also are of the mind that anything different is bad. Pavel is the real deal a real tough guy in a world of talk, and over inflated egos. What ever I’ll be training with kettle bells while these haters sit on the couch ,eat potato chips and get fat and lazy while trolling on you tube. losers
hmmmmm….. that why we are still here and the most feared units in the world. uess you never READ that but thats all some people do is read LOL
Little girl, I shall Tell you a joke!
sometimes Pavel acts a bit ‘too macho in my opinion.also inhis books.dont know.but when men do that i’m always weary about their ‘true nature’.only when you want to hide somthing you act like that
@NeoOsiris19 ,the kettlbells are not my thing i have to say.i think it is a russian tradition but not better than dumbbell and barbell workouts.but to each his/her own
@NeoOsiris19 ,he doesnt look like a strongman, true.but i have a book ‘beyond bodybuilding’,and i have to say he’s got quite some usefull knowledge you dont find in other books.
Pavel deadpan is just as incredible as his training theory, haha.
@joedell71 I dont know why any one gave that comment a thumbs down. It’s true!!
I remember reading about this guy years ago. He got his start as a trainer for the russian spetznatz which is an elite fighting unit renowned for the toughness, strength and endurance of the members. They make American special forces look like little girls. This guy is no joke.
I want to see the video where Pavel got punched by Mikhail Ryabko
what about AKC? they say that ‘hard style’ is the BEGINNER STYLE in Russia…
Odds not “oz”. Meaning that safety and performance go hand in hand together, they do not go against one another or, worded a different way, they are not at odds.
Whoa, Comrade Amanda is a babe!
Pavel’s joke never gets old!
That we’re back in Kansas, Dorthy.
