this is what fedor emelianenko does, this is how hes so explosive. while many american fighters stick to weight training to gain strength and explosiveness, fedor sticks with kettlebells. and in case you didnt know, hes a monster in the ring

Watching videos with Pavel Tsatsoulin could be very helpful in finding the right technique, since he is the authority on the subject.
Properly executed KB exercise should distribute the wight of the KB relatively evenly throughout the major muscle groups, so if you are feeling more stress on your lower back – you are correct, you are doing something wrong, but without seeing it that’s the best advice I can give you.
