I went through boot camp, but I must say that the PT is not all that hard. I had harder training when I wrestled in high school. I gained weight going to boot camp. I was running farther before. Congrads on your achievements. The discipline stays with you for life. I took it with me through power lifting, boxing, grappling, and other sports I train in. These kettle workouts are great. The 300 movie actors utilized them. We all know they were in awesome shape.

If you don’t have patience than you shouldn’t start lifting in the first place. Results are great, but building a solid frame is better in the long run. Sure weight lifting hurts, but it is always smart to be cognizant of pacing yourself. The world was not built in one day, and neither is a strong body.

It just seems so easy, but it is not. On the contrary, U have to prepare U in the gym for this kinf of training….

don’t overshoot with weight on these things either. You can mess your rotator and shoulders up pretty easily. It is about technique and stamina.

On the contrary, you might want to go to the gym to prepare for kettlebells, instead :)

20-30 minutes of hard work with kettle bells is extremely tough going.

Most kettlebell exercises are explosive (in that you are attempting to accelerate quickly rather than lift it at constant velocity). As a result, it builds some serious all round conditioning :)

Actually kettlebells is a traditional Russian cast iron weight . And they were not designed for home work outs. They were and still are the basic weight’s for the Russian military. Also you can get more then 20kg. I’ve used a 32kg a couple of times, and they do go more.

I wish i knew where to buy some kettlebells for a descent price.

  22. Comment by jus2sik

umm no there not, there designed for easier home workouts and thats why the heaviest kettlebell you can get is 20 kg

Ive yet to see healthy mass and real core strength in a “bodybuilder’s physique”. GO watch MMA. You’ll notice none of them look like bodybuilders. They would rather be effective than look like shined up muscle heads

You’ll get a bodybuilder’s physique using kettlebells same way you do using normal weight training, by taking massive amounts of drugs.
