Personal trainers NYC Build One Of A Kind Exercise Program Best Personal trainer NYC!

The power factor system created a way to measure power output by taking the total amount of work that was done and dividing it by the number of seconds it took to produce that work. The difficulty with the power factor training system is that it uses a very small range of motion, eventually becoming static contraction training, which has no motion whatsoever. Muscle contraction without movement makes it very difficult to understand the concept of work, since nothing is actually moving. In my own experience, I maxed-out and plateau quickly, unable to see continued gains even though I was pushing a tremendous amount of very short distances. For example, I was bench-pressing 550 pounds for half-an-inch, or leg pressing well over 1000 pounds for 1 to 2 inches, but couldn’t get past that.

Personal trainer NYC Escalating Density Training takes the concepts of power — the amount of wor k produced over a period of time — and encourages you to perform that work over a fixed duration. In this case, it’s 15 minutes. So in EDT, you would perform two exercise alternately for 15 minutes with small rest breaks in between. I started out doing squats and push-ups.

Personal trainers NYC Even though your body may be used to pushing heavy weights, your muscles typically aren’t used to doing it for a sustained duration, which is what EDT encourages you to do. The idea is that you do as many push-ups and squats as you can during the 15 minutes, and the next time you come around to that same set, which might be one to two weeks later depending on your schedule, you try to do more push-ups or squats in the same period of time, or use more weight; doing squats while holding onto kettle bells or dumbbells, or push-ups with a weighted vest.

Personal training NYC The fun thing about this training program is that it gives you a numeric goal to beat. You know exactly what your power factor rating (seconds divided by reps) was the last time you did this exercise set, so when you’re doing it again, you know what you have to beat. You begin to compete with yourself, which makes exercise more fun and rewarding. It’s also startling to learn just how quickly you can gain power.

Your body will adapt when you use this program. Even though you may have been extremely sore just doing squats with no weight whatsoever, after a few weeks, you’ll find that you can squat for 15 minutes doing 180 repetitions and won’t be sore at all. Then, you can start adding weight. If you do this long enough, you may be able to squat 20 pounds, 40 pounds or maybe even 80 or 100 pounds eventually. You’ll be both strong and functional, and your leg muscle mass will increase in size because that is a necessary adaptation for increased.

Kettlebells For Exercise

How can you get a fit body with out paying monthly fees to a gym, or building one at your own house? Let’s take a look at kettlebells a wonderful alternative to commercial gyms, where even if you have the bucks to spend the intimidation factor can be way out of the roof.

I had never heard of kettlebells until Turbulence Training Guru Chris Lopez wrote Turbulence Training: Kettlebell Revolution which explained how to use kettlebells for exercise.

It is a known fact that if you want to lose weight and lose it fast, you need to incorporate some kind of resistance training into your weekly routines. Up until now, you either had to fork over big bucks to a gym or buy expensive home gyms that often looked like a collision had occurred amongst a group of archers. Well, kettlebells for exercise are the answer to what we have all been looking for. Kettlebells for exercise provide the results you’d expect from free weights and yet they are relatively inexpensive and can fit behind your couch.

A kettlebell is like a cannonball with a handle welded on it. It’s overall appearance is that of a black tea kettle albeit a very stout one. The Russians developed kettlebells for exercise to train their top athletes so they are great for hardcore exercise enthusiasts and rank beginners. They can be used to give you a great looking body or perhaps you are training for a sport. Kettlebells for exercise can increase your flexibility and build your core. Golfers use them to increase the strength of their grip. Dieters use them to develop fat burning lean muscle mass. Do you want to have a cut physique? Use kettlebells for exercise. Using kettlebells for exercise will develop your endurance no matter what sport or activity you engage in.

You don’t need to be an Olympian to enjoy the benefits of kettlebells they will fit nicely behind your couch and you can take them out to exercise to your favorite DVD or to follow a kettlebell exercise routine. Kettlebells for exercise come in all sizes and they can be used just like dumbbells only with much better results. If you are a woman who wants a tight, toned body kettlebells for exercise are the answer for that also. Kettlebells for exercise can be used instead of dumbbells, medicine balls and grip devices. So women can benefit from them just as much as men.

Women are using kettlebells for exercise now to shrink their love handles, flatten their bellies, improve their posture and eliminate thunder thighs. Doing regular squats with kettlebells for exercise can also reduce puffy ankles, improve the strength of back muscles and shoulders, reduce injury and fatigue.

These unbelievable little devices are a true wonder. Kettlebells for exercise help make a new you! You can find kettlebells for exercise at your local sports store or get them online. I would also recommend that you read Turbulence Training: Kettlebell Revolution by Chris Lopez to get the biggest bang from kettlebells for exercise.

The Best Fat Burning Exercise That You Need To Know

Don’t be mistaken that sit up is the best fat burning exercise. In fact, stop doing sit ups if you want to eliminate belly fat. Sit up is inefficient and you can’t get a well defined abs even if you are doing sit ups for an hour or longer a day.

Why performing sit up doesn’t get you any abs? It is because sit up only trains a single part of your muscle. Exercises like bicep curls only focus on one single muscle group. Training only one small part of your muscle group cannot help you to burn more calories.

There are many muscle groups in your body. Muscles are also of different sizes. Some of the biggest muscles in your body include glutes, back, chest and your thigh muscles. Your exercises will be more effective when you can target all these muscles altogether instead of only your abs.

So what is the best fat burning exercise? Squats.

Why is squat the best fat burning exercise? Squat works several of your muscle groups such as your thigh, glutes, back and your leg muscles.

To increase the challenge of doing squats, you can carry kettle bells or bar bells. Always remember to perform squats with a good form to burn more calories prevent injuries at the same time. If you still want to increase the intensity of your workout, follow the Tabata style while doing squats.

Note: Tabata protocol is created by Izumi Tabata and it requires you to perform an exercise for as hard as you can for 20 seconds followed by 10 seconds of rest. Rinse and repeat for a total of 8 sets and you will get an awesome workout.

There are many different exercises that can help help you burn fat efficiently. Most of these exercises contain squats because squats are simple efficient. Performing squats can help you to burn more calories using the least amount of time as compared to isolation exercises.

While exercising is essential, you will need to have a healthy and nutritious diet too. I have seen many people waste their workouts away by eating foods that will only lead to an increase in the number on the weighing scale. I don’t want you to commit this mistake. Choose the right food and eat a healthy diet to go along with your exercises.

Be disciplined and keep your eyes on the goal to get rid of the flabs so that you can look better and feel better.

Tips for Exercise That Will Burn Fat

OK guys you want to hear some of my favorite core exercises? Well get up off the floor out of the sit up or crunch position because none of them have anything to do with lying on the floor. In fact, you may even think that they don’t have anything to do with strengthening your core. Before I tell you my fave ways to build the core let’s have a brief discussion on gym philosophy. It seems that most people go to the gym are concerned about building big arms and legs and completely over look the core except for some occasional sit ups. I am going to give you some of the all time best hardcore workouts. The reason they are so good is because they use a device called a kettle bell (KB).

Because of the design the KB is incredibly versatile and there are hundreds of exercises that you can do. Because these exercises involve multiple muscles at the same time they are core intensive. Your back and abs must be involved to help you keep your balance. The fundamental exercise is the swing. It is very simplistic and doesn’t even look like it would work anything however within the first few swings you will feel it in your back and abs. Most of you who are into exercising and keeping yourselves fit would surely understand the importance of the right kind of exercise regimes that can definitely work your muscles well. Those of you who are into hardcore workout would also know how to make simple exercise routines into the best muscle worker. For those of you who are not so very experienced with muscle workouts and jogging, then this is the place for you. Life is fast moving and it is fact that we just cannot find enough time in a day to do everything. Off late, this fast paced life style has made us cut short on a lot of things and make a lot of sacrifices.

I am going to give you some of the all time best hardcore workouts. The reason they are so good is because they use a device called a kettle bell (KB). This is a Russian piece of equipment that looks like a cannon ball with a handle. The operant word of this quote is consistency. When it comes to starting an exercise program, it is very easy to get caught in enrolling in the snazziest gym, purchasing the most complete home gym, hiring the best personal fitness trainer or waiting until we have enough money to purchase the latest and greatest infomercial fad exercise equipment before we feel that we can or should start. The thing is that there is no one single exercise that will work for all of you. If such an exercise existed, every athlete in the world would increase his or her vertical jump by 10 to 15 inches without any trouble at all.

As you get older your metabolism slows down and you naturally put on body weight whether you like it or not but you can stop it by increasing your exercise in reducing your daily food intake. You can pick up many specialty exercise equipment pieces like the Abcircle which targets your midsection and gives you the ability to implement cardio training along with your regular exercise program.

Each workout consists of a dynamic flexibility warm up, drills designed by experts who have worked at the highest levels in professional and recreational sports. These drills are designed to get your body temperature up, get your muscles warmed up and your blood pumping around your body. They are also designed to minimise the chances of you tweaking a muscle or spraining a ligament during the workout – disastrous to your weight loss efforts.

Â

Fulham bootcamp workouts

Â

Once you have warmed up Nic or Lulu will put you through your paces with fat loss circuits using medicine balls and kettle bells for instance, and interval training running drills designed to maximise fat loss. Neither of these guys will shout and scream at you, just encourage you through these demanding but fun workouts. Once you have finished the workout there is a 5-10 minute cool down designed to bring your heart rate down and stretch those muscle you have just blasted.

Â

Here is a sample workout:

A1. Medicine ball squat push press Tabata, rest 1 minute

A2. Push ups Tabata, rest 1 minute, rest 1 minute

A3. Kettle bell hip thrusts Tabata, rest 1 minute

A4. Skipping Tabata, rest 1 minute

A5. Band lateral raise Tabata, rest 1 minute

You may be put through this circuit three to four times after which you be put through on of our running drills such as the Everest run or the Kilimanjaro run. Both of these runs are high internsity interval workouts which are scientifically proven to raise you metabolism for longer post exercise – this equals you burning more fat while you are at rest!

Â

Come along for a free week’s trial with Nic or Lulu at our PeakXVfitness Fulham bootcamp in South Park (Woolneigh Street entrance) to see if we can help you get in shape, Tuesday and Thursday 7-8pm and Sunday 10-11am.

I’m sure I just upset some of those out there that think ellipticals and treadmills are the greatest thing since sliced bread, but I’m going to assert to you in this article, that they are both a big fat waste of your time!

First though, let me state that if you really truly enjoy mindlessly pumping away on an elliptical or treadmill (or an exercise bike too), then by all means, you’ve got to keep doing what you enjoy, because enjoying your exercise program is one of the most important keys to actually sticking with any exercise routine for the long haul.

However, don’t say that I didn’t warn you that you were wasting your time with all that mindless cardiovascular machine boredom. Also, you might find ideas in this article that you enjoy a lot more than ellipticals and treadmills and will get you better weight loss results too!

If I have not mentioned it before, I don’t believe in cardio machines, and personally, I haven’t even touched an elliptical, treadmill, or exercise bike in at least 6 or 7 years (if not more).

Actually, I never even use cardiovascular machines anymore for warm-ups before a workout (I used to on occasion)… These days, I prefer to do kettle bell or dumbbell swings or snatches mixed with body weight exercises as a great full body warm-up at the beginning of my workouts.

So why in the world do I have such a deep dislike for cardio machines? Here are my 5 main reasons:

1) Mindless steady state exercise while watching tv or reading creates a mind/body disconnect resulting in poor results.

2) Ellipticals and treadmills are just plain boring!

3) Ellipticals and treadmills are also a very inefficient method of working out in comparison to other options you have available. Why would you do elliptical or treadmill work outs if you can get much better results by doing more fun and interesting forms of exercise that actually stimulate your metabolism to a greater extent and increase your fat-burning hormonal response to the workout.

4) Ellipticals and treadmills are ridiculously expensive and a waste of money for people that work out at home… there are so many better options for home work outs you could spend your money on rather than throwing it away on an elliptical, treadmill, exercise bike (which are most likely just going to gather dust anyway).

I prefer a much cheaper home gym setup… You really don’t need a whole lot more than a good jump rope, body weight exercises, a stability ball, some dumbells (adjustable work great), possibly a couple kettle bells, and perhaps resistance bands for some extra variety.

5) I have also seen studies that showed evidence that treadmill jogging may be less effective than outdoor jogging for many reasons such as slightly less calorie expenditure compared to outdoor jogging, stride abnormalities on treadmills vs natural jogging, etc.

(although I would never advise just “jogging” anyway… varied intensity walks or runs and/or sprint intervals are a much more effective training routine, which exercises your heart in a much wider heart-rate range instead of just the same heart rate the whole time).

So what are some good alternatives to ellipticals and treadmills? Here are a few of the best:

Kettle bell training – nothing will get your heart thumping like high rep KB snatches and swings or clean & presses (can be done with dumbells as well, but I prefer KBs).

Jump rope – great mind/body connection (try speed jumping, crossovers, and double jumps once you get good)

Body weight training – lunges, body weight squats, pushups, jumping exercises, planks, bear crawls, mountain climbers, etc.

Outdoor wind sprints – this is the ultimate training for a super lean ripped body… just take a look at the powerful chiseled physiques of world class sprinters, and compare that to the withered weakling bodies of typical marathoners… enough said!

Sprint swimming – more of a muscle toning workout than steady pace distance swimming… I actually love the upper body pump I get from sprint style swimming (this is the same concept as sprint intervals vs steady pace jogging but in a pool)

Hill sprints – yet another staple for a rock hard and ripped body.

Shadow boxing – incredible workout, but if you are shy, you might want to do this at home since you will get some crazy looks from people if you’re doing this at a typical gym.

Rowing machine – I don’t lump this in as a “cardio” machine like ellipticals or treadmills… instead, I think the rowing machine is truly a great full body workout that actually uses real resistance.

Heavy bag punching/kicking workout, rebound bag, or speed bag – all are great workouts and much more entertaining than typical boring cardio machines (also requires an intense mind/body connection which is essential for success)

I hope you’ve enjoyed this look at why elliptical machines and treadmills are such an ineffective and boring method of working out, and perhaps you’ve found some fun new ways to spice up your exercise routine.

Exercising is a complex issue, that should involve a warm up, cardiovascular, flexibility, strength, postural work and a cool down. Exercise is multi-dimensional and during an exercise session transition’s from one phase to another should certainly be evident. However in most gym visitors training schedules this isn’t the case.

In many gym visitors exercise sessions I see at Fitness First in Cardiff, there is not even one transition evident. People will solely stay on one machine such as the X Trainer for up to an hour. I have seen this at many cardiff health clubs, such as Esporta Cardiff and David Lloyd’s Cardiff. As I have seen this in so many cardiff gyms, it must be happening in every gym around the world.

As the owner of a Cardiff Personal training company, I’d like to offer a very simple training programme for all of you gym users who are guilty of this.

Warm up: X-Trainer 5 mins

Stretches: Main muscle groups

Cardio: 1 km run, 2 km bike and 1 km row. Rest 2 mins and repeat x 2 – 3 times

Resistance Circuit: Squats, Press ups, Lunges, Lateral DB raises, Plank, Lat Pull Down and Leg Press. Rest 2 mins and repeat 2 – 3 times.

Warm Down: 5 mins on Rower

Flexibility: Total body stretching

Use some light stretches and some immobilisation exercises to increase range of motion.

This session involves structure, with a warm up, main CV section, flexibility work and resistance work. This session if performed at a decent intensity will improve fitness levels on a multidimensional level including; cardiovascularly, strength, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance and strength endurance.

Contact a Personal trainer in your area for more exercise routines and plans.

As a person grows older, these mental capacities seem to get lowered and it seems like the person forgets things more often.
Well, basically, orchids need the appropriate amount of light and water. But no plant will live on air and water alone. Other than these two, you must also keep in mind that orchids need fertilizing as well. Most orchid potting media provide support only, and have little or no food value.

Kettlebells For Exercise

The Problem

How can you get a fit body with out paying monthly fees to a gym, or building one at your own house? Let’s take a look at kettlebells a wonderful alternative to commercial gyms, where even if you have the bucks to spend the intimidation factor can be way out of the roof.

What the heck are kettlebells?

I had never heard of kettlebells until Turbulence Training Guru Chris Lopez wrote Turbulence Training: Kettlebell Revolution which explained how to use kettlebells for exercise.

The answer to the problem.

Kettlebells for exercise can help me achieve my goals.

Are kettlebells for exercise good for more than just the macho weight lifter?

You don’t need to be an Olympian to enjoy the benefits of kettlebells they will fit nicely behind your couch and you can take them out to exercise to your favorite DVD or to follow a kettlebell exercise routine. Kettlebells for exercise come in all sizes and they can be used just like dumbbells only with much better results. If you are a woman who wants a tight, toned body kettlebells for exercise are the answer for that also. Kettlebells for exercise can be used instead of dumbbells, medicine balls and grip devices. So women can benefit from them just as much as men.

They are for men and women!

So where can you get kettlebells? Start by checking out my web page Kettlebells & More. While your there you just got to see Chris Lopez’s Turbulence Training:Kettlebell Revolution.

Kettlebell Exercise for Fat Loss

Is your bulk driving you crazy? Is your body fat causing you serious mental depression? Well you are not the only one in this world that is having these problems. There are a huge number of others going through the same situation. People are doing so many things to stay fit and many are getting their desired results. But it is you who has to decide the regime that suits your body. Kettlebell fat loss workout is the talk in many circles. It has reaped great results for many of the people using the Kettlebell exercise. In order to cater to the need of the fitness hungry people there are many fitness centers that offer the Kettlebell fat loss workout programs. Most of these centers have coaches specialized in this field. If you do not want to travel, and you want to do it yourself at home then there are Kettlebell workout DVD available in the market that carry in depth illustrations of all the exercises and movements. Below are some of the movements that you can execute in your Kettlebell workout routine:

Front Squat: Any squat involves a lot of muscle movement at one time thus it is a great way to burn some extra fat. To start off this movement clean a kettlebell and then rack it to your shoulders. Keep the other hand in the front to give support as well as balance. Next push your hips and bend your knees and while doing so keep the chest out and shoulders stretched back. Breath normally but make sure that the abs are tight in this position. Continue with pushing the hips back and keep your thighs parallel to the floor.

Handed Kettlebell Squat: This is another popular kettlebell exercise. This is the 2 handed version of the kettlebell front squat. In this you have to grab the kettlebell with both the hands on either side of the handle. This movement will put a lot of pressure on the abdominal section. Make the movement easy for you by placing the kettlebell closer to your body and if you want to do it the hard way then hold the kettlebell away from the body with the straightened arms.

Kettlebell Turkish Get Up: This is one of the exercises that has been regularly highlighted in many kettlebell workout dvds. This movement involves full body movement and thus there is an incredible chance of burning some excess fat, but it is also one of the most difficult kettlebell exercise to master. You have to lay down on your back with the kettlebell held with the extended arm stretched out above the head. You have to get up from this position without changing the position of kettlebell.

These are three definitive ways to get leaner and fitter using the kettlebell fat loss workout. But it is always advisable that you take help from a trainer initially because a trainer will be the best judge of the kettlebell workout routine that suits you. Sean Armstead has released a kettlebell basic training DVD that can show you basic workouts and get you started in your kettlebell workout regimen. It is a fat loss workout that is taught by an experienced instructor. Please visit seanarmstead.com for more information and purchase the kettlebell basic training DVD today!

Kettlebell Clean Exercise Variations: Use the Same Weight, Increase the Difficulty

The Kettlebell Clean is a great ballistic kettlebell exercise that utilizes the entire body. Like many kettlebell exercises, the Kettlebell Clean has several variations that increase the difficulty level so you can keep the challenges coming. Learning each progressive exercise will help you build strength, master your technique, and utilize the same weight for a much longer amount of time. Here is a progressive list of Kettlebell Clean exercise variations, from the easiest to the most difficult:

Kettlebell 2-Hand Dead Clean

The 2-Hand Dead Clean is the easiest way to start learning the Kettlebell Clean exercise. This will help you understand the path that the kettlebell takes during the exercise without bruising your forearm. The point is to go slow and control the kettlebell with each rep. You want to feel the kettlebell in the right position in between the forearm and biceps. You also want to take note of how the kettlebell does not completely flip over, but instead wraps around the wrist into position. Start with the kettlebell on the ground and your right hand holding the handle with your left hand cradling the right. In a slow motion, curl the kettlebell up to the right shoulder, keeping your right arm tight against your body. Make sure the kettlebell wraps around the forearm until it ends in the rack position. Slowly lower the kettlebell back to the ground and repeat until the exercise feels natural.

Kettlebell 1-Hand Dead Clean

Starting with the kettlebell in front of you, bend your knees and with your thumb facing back grab onto the handle with one hand. Pull the kettlebell up while explosively standing up. Make sure to keep your arm tight against your body and finish in the rack position. Bring the kettlebell back down to the ground by bending your legs.

Kettlebell Clean

The next progression is the traditional Kettlebell Clean. Start with the kettlebell about a foot in front of you. Grab the kettlebell, bending your hips with a slight bend in your knees while keeping your back straight and your glutes tight throughout the duration. Pick up the kettlebell and let it swing between your legs and then swing forward. Keep your upper arm against your side and use a pulling up motion as if starting a lawn mower. Immediately use an uppercut motion having the kettlebell wrap around wrist, ending up between your forearm and biceps.

Pistol Grip Kettlebell Clean

The Pistol Grip Kettlebell Clean requires a lot more grip and forearm strength then the previous versions. You are going to do a Kettlebell Clean, but at the top of the exercise, instead of positioning the kettlebell between the forearm and biceps, you are going to hold the kettlebell upside down. Carefully drop it down into the starting position and repeat. When you start with this exercise, have your free hand ready to keep the kettlebell vertical so it doesn’t slam down on your forearm (or onto your face). Make sure to use a weight you feel comfortable holding pistol-grip style.

Kettlebell Clean to Catch

When you practice the Kettlebell Clean to Catch, make sure you do it on a surface that you won’t mind dropping the kettlebell on. Perform a regular kettlebell clean, but when you reach the peak of the clean, let go of the kettlebell allowing it to swing over the handle into your palm. Keep your arm tight against your side. To return to the start position, toss the ball portion of the kettlebell straight in front of you, catching the handle and continuing with the downswing as normal. Make sure to keep your core tight throughout the duration.

Alternating Clean to Catch

For the last progression, you are going to perform the kettlebell clean to catch with one variation: on the downswing, instead of catching the kettlebell with the same hand, you are going to catch it with the opposite hand.

There you have it. A set of exercises that will make the traditional kettlebell clean both more doable and more difficult. Mastering these exercises requires practice and discipline. It’s easy to keep moving up the weight, but never truly utilizing a kettlebell to its full capacity. Give them a try today and reap the benefits immediately!

Best Russian Kettlebell Exercise to Make You a More Effective Trail Runner

Running down hill, variable terrain, tough climbs, and uneven footing; these are the ingredients of trail running. They demand lateral agility and responsiveness that one might lack from the more predictable strides of road running. The key to the requisite lithe footwork of trail running is a strong and supple core because the abdominal and lower back muscles are the essential centerpiece of the gyroscope that allows for balance and resilience. The core forms the foundation for posture, back support, and stability, and assists in absorbing the impact of descents. More and more runners are using Russian Kettlebells as part of their cross training and the following exercise is one that will develop your core as well as your legs.

Kettlebell thrusters are simply one of the best compound Russian Kettlebell exercises you can do, if your goal is to build a strong core and work your whole body. In addition, the cardio vascular component of this exercise complex is flat out amazing. The kettlebell thruster is a full body workout. If you employ the correct levels of tension, remember to inhale at the bottom and sharply exhale at the top you will tax every muscle of your being and raise your heart rate to lung searing levels. If you are a kettlebell rookie, then you need to use the right size bell. Most women will start with either the 8 kilo or 12 kilo and most men the 16 kilo.

The first part of the exercise is to use a “clean” to lift the Kettlebell. You will start with the kettlebell in front of your feet like the point of a triangle. The first move is a hike pass through your legs, near your crotch and above the knee. Keeping your arm loose, the KB is lifted with your hip thrust. Keep your elbow in and quickly flip your elbow under when the bell has almost reached your shoulder. Do not pull with your arm or try and cheat curl it up to your shoulder! The power is from your hip thrust. Move your hand through the handle. Don’t move the kettlebell around your hand. Once you are in this racked position keep the elbow tight against your rib cage with full upper and lower body tension and a happy, relaxed face. You do not support the kettlebell with a shrugged shoulder or by pushing up the arm. Instead, relax the shoulder girdle and let the force of the kettlebell pass to your ribcage, stomach and hips. You need to have your elbow as low as you can. The Kettlebell will be just off center of your chin for men and just to the side of your chin for women to protect the breast area. When returning the Kettlebell to the bottom position, after the set of thrusters, keep your arm very loose. Swing it back between your legs and don’t try to stem the tide of the kettlebell momentum. Then let it swing forward just a little bit and then place it on the deck.

Once you have the kettlebell racked into position, then find your ideal stance right around your feet at shoulder width. Keep your heels planted and you should be able to wiggle your toes. Track your feet with your knees. Push your hips back as if sitting and go as deep as you can. Keep your core under tension and your lower spine straight. Ideally your hamstrings rest on your calves. Next, drive through with your heels and press the kettlebell overhead without raising your shoulder up to your ear. Keep your whole body tight. Lower the kettlebell back into the rack position by pulling it down, not by dropping it. Re-squat and repeat. Work for thirty seconds on one side, set the kettlebell down, rest for thirty seconds and then go to the opposite side for thirty seconds. Try for 9 minutes. As you get fitter you will be able to work more and rest less.

This one exercise workout will develop your core and balance like no other. In addition, you will be building metabolic lean muscle that will want to feast on your fat. If you can last for a full nine minutes, without any rest, but just switching from right side to left side, then you are tough as nails. A full nine minutes means never letting the kettlebell touch the deck. Most of you will not be able to do the nine minutes without using the rest periods. The goal is to work more and rest less each time you the workout. Good luck!

Question by Texas girl Expecting#1 11/11/10!: Has anyone ever tried kettlebells for exercise?
I’ve recently become interested in kettlebells. I am trying to lose weight and so far have lost 15lbs with a Jillian Michaels work out video. But I’ve become a little tired of it and want to try something else for awhile. Has anyone tried kettlebells? How much weight did you lose?
Thanks for the help!

Best answer:

Answer by Deangelo
Weight loss was a huge problem for me until I tried colon cleanse. I know they say that pills will not work, nevertheless they certainly worked for me, and they have been featured on CNN too. There’s a free trial on currently at http://kulern.slimmingregimestore.info , try it out, what is the worst that could happen?

What do you think? Answer below!
