If you have ever suffered from very bad back pain that I have, you know can be debilitating. Even the most mundane daily tasks such as walking or standing on a chair can be a challenge. Many times the lower back pain and injury caused by a number of factors, but some of the biggest offenders are muscle weakness and muscle imbalances. Kettlebells can help correct these imbalances and weaknesses. Before we consider how kettlebells can help, let us consider some of the common weaknesses and imbalances. 1. Weak abdominal muscles. Your abs, when working properly help to keep the pelvis from moving too much or move in the wrong position when it moves, whether regular or mobile use. 2. Tight hip flexors. Pelvic flexors can walk, run, climb, stand, sit, dip, turn. When these muscles are tight, they pull the pelvis out of natural alignment. If your abs are weak, becomes a big problem. Furthermore, it is known that tight hip flexors prevent stomach working. 3. Poor Butt. Yes, everything is designed to help Derriere forward and act as a counterbalance to the bending moment. When this muscle is weak, among others, can be a disaster in your lower back. 4. Weak hamstrings. These are the muscles that run along the rear legs. They are also designed in collaboration with Butt, who moves forward and to counterbalance the upper body when bending. Of course there are other muscles that can contribute to back pain, but these are some of the main culprits. Kettlebell exercises based on Swing takeoffs and strengthen their weaknesses &#8211; the buttocks, abdominals and hamstrings. These Kettlebell exercises help correct muscle imbalances to protect the lower back over time. Honestly, most of Kettlebell exercises focus on the hips and core, and when done correctly, literally, have a magical effect on the body. In Australia, many top level sports teams such as the Australian Football League clubs such as Port Adelaide, Essendon and Fremantle, the Australian military forces and Australian Institute of sports are using kettlebell training as part of their physical preparation. It is no wonder that kettlebell training has become more popular in Perth, Western Australia and more personal trainers have jumped into the wagon and started offering kettlebell training as part of their services. Unfortunately, not all Perth personal trainers adequately trained to provide top notch or even proper basic kettlebell training instructions. <p><b>Perth Kettlebell Instructor Selection Guidelines</b></p>
<p><b>1. Cert IV Personal Trainer</b><br />&#013;Any kettlebell instructor in Australia and definitely in Perth, Western Australia must be a Cert IV qualified personal trainer. It is an Australian national vocational standard for a person to hold a Cert IV in personal training to be able to conduct personal training services. Anything less than that may mean that the instructor is not properly trained to understand how the human body cope and adapts to the demands of exercise.</p>

<p><b>3. Look the Part</b><br />&#013;The kettlebell instructor should take personal fitness and kettlebell training very seriously. He should be fit and healthy. He should also have done the kettlebell exercises and programs before getting his clients to do them. If he is unfit, out of shape, and could not even do the exercises that he is showing you, why would you be convinced that his training programs work?</p>
<p><b>4. Expert in Exercise Progression</b><br />&#013;The kettlebell instructor should be experienced enough able to customize training to various levels of fitness and skills. There is no one-size-fits all program that works.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>I used to own one of those big pulley system weight machines. It cost me a couple of thousand dollars and was really good quality. I sold it on Ebay for $150 last year.</p>
<p>Now I use low cost equipment and get heaps better results. I can go outside and train, or I can train in front of the television. I can train in the living room and watch the kids at the same time. Or I can pack it all up and take it to the park and train with friends and clients in a different setting. No longer am I stuck in the study. And as I said, the results have been amazing. So what do I use?</p>
<p>First off I would recommend a good set of <strong>adjustable dumbbells.</strong> You know the ones where you can add or remove weight plates as required. I actually have a couple of sets. One I keep quite heavy for use with leg exercises and one set that I change around a lot more depending on what exercises I am doing. These will probably be your most expensive purchase, but you will use them over and over. There are so many different ways to use them and you can easily work your whole body in any number of ways. Almost any exercise can be done with a set of dumbbells.</p>
<p>Another piece of fitness equipment I use a lot are my <strong>medicine balls</strong>. There are so many different ways to use medicine balls too. You can get them quite cheap at large sporting goods stores or from the internet. I use a 4kg one and a 6 kg one. I use these in every session with my Personal Training clients and Bootcamps too. They are great to use on your own or for partner work.</p>
<p>One of my most used pieces of equipment is a <strong>step.</strong> I had a friend build me one from some timber he had laying around. It is about 12 inches high and wide and about 4 foot long. Clients can get on either end of it and step up and down together. It is amazing how much harder they can go with someone else to keep up with. The step combines well with the dumbbells or the medicine ball for step ups, step downs, sideways step ups, lungeing off the box or onto the box or even dips off the side. You can also jump on and off the box or even use it to do push ups with. Put your hands on it to make them easier, or your feet to make it harder. Clients that find it hard to get up and down from the floor, can even do ab exercises on it and it doubles as a bench as well. To improve fitness, a step is invaluable.</p>
<p>Another cheap piece of fitness equipment is the humble <strong>skipping rope</strong>. Uses are obvious and you will be surprised how hard it is if you haven&#8217;t tried it lately. If you persist though, you will improve your fitness really quickly with regular jump rope sessions and they are great for weight loss too.</p>
<p>There are many other inexpensive items to include in your home gym set up. These can include <strong>resistance bands</strong> which are great to take on holidays and <strong>yoga type mats</strong> which come in real handy when training outside on hard surfaces. <strong>Kettlebells</strong> are a great item to have, but they can be quite expensive so search around for them. There are many suppliers on the net. I use them a lot in my training sessions and my clients love them too. There are many kettlebell exercises for either strength development, endurance improvement or fat burning, and they work really, really well.</p>
<p>These are just some of the inexpensive ways to equip your home gym. Don&#8217;t be fooled into thinking you need an expensive pinloaded weight machine. All of my clients, not to mention myself, have fantastic results without them.</p>

              Want to know what is best Kettlebell exercises are? And no, do not fall into that cliche is not answered. There are only six Kettlebell exercises, which are worth your time and attention. This is, of course, change exercises, but here are the basics. And remember, just because they are basic, does not mean easy or unimportant. 1. Swing.<br />
Swing is the start-up Kettlebell exercise. It is performed by raising the dead to the Kettlebell locked position. Then there is literally thrown behind and between the legs with your back as flat, and chest out and head held high and eyes horizon. It is literally the foundation of all Kettlebell exercises, because it teaches you to use and move your hips. It has been said by former Brazilian Ju-Jitsu Champ, Steve Maxwell, Swing to take care of 90% of an athlete are strength and conditioning. You can expect to strengthen the hips, legs and trunk muscles. It will also strengthen the shoulders, arms, forearms and hands. In fact, it is really not a muscle that is intact in Swing. It also offers a powerful punch of cardiovascular conditioning. Is performed several times between 30 seconds and one minute at a time, Swing meets most of the possible need for a healthy heart and a massive pair of lungs get in phenomenal form. 2. The Turkish Get Up If the swing is the foundation kettlebell exercises, the Turks to Get should be the framework. The TGU (or MS) works all the muscles of the body at the same time as the Swing, but at a much slower pace, the creation of support forces, or the base resistance. This is an excellent shoulder rehabilitation, basic conditioner, and opens the hip. You start the TGU by lying on your back with your head in one hand Kettlebells, perpendicular to the ground. You get up from the ground, through a slot, without putting the kettlebell down or let go from the vertical position. That is right &#8211; is kept over his head all the time. But only half. Your hips should be slightly lower than the top of the knees. Keep your elbows just inside your knees and slide your legs apart with the elbows. Well is now a little lower, still holding his chest puffed and lower back flat. Stop when your thighs touch the back of your legs and back by tightening the glutes hard at top. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions. Goblet Squat is excellent for improving the mobility of hip and really allows you to re-capture the squat, hiking base that so many people lost through the home box.
