jus728 – learn about Girevoy sport and why they corkscrew the kettlebell down out of the snatch.
you can go strait over the top you don;t have to twist at the wrist
I thought the snatch was more of a lifting motion versus swinging.
like Olympic lifting or powerlifting is better? Discus is an olympic sport.
none of these guys appear to be using much of a hip thrust
just because you haven’t seen it before doesn’t mean it’s odd or anything. or are you ignorant? please check out the history.. and have you tried kettlebells?
Either way Metal this is true conditioning:D
You know I’ve done them with dembells and kettlebells before, and they are WAY easier for me with kettlebells. I think because when I’m using the kettlebells I get to twist more at the wrist as I’m pulling the bell up over the head.
just when you thought there were enough odd sports out there i see this. Dnt get me wrong im sure these guys are strong as hell but honestly… Kettlebell Lifting Championships??? give me a break.
Great video! I remember how tough that is from the competitions I did. Nowhere close to their #s though
I agree with you, this is just a nightmare. I tried doing this with Dumb-bells. When I finished I could barely move.
these guys have gotta be some strong sob’s to be competing in this competition
